Panta ilish is a dish from Bangladesh that joins a bowl of panta bhat cooked and splashed rice with singed ilish fish. Ingredients:
- 6 Ilish pieces
- ½ teaspoon red bean stew powder
- ½ teaspoon turmeric
- Salt, as indicated by taste
- Oil, for singing
Method: Clean fish pieces. Rub bean stew powder, turmeric, and salt liberally on the fish pieces. Warmth oil in medium high. Fry until brilliant and fresh.
